Vancouver, B.C., December 30, 2013 - Panoro Minerals Ltd. (TSXV: PML, Lima: PML, Frankfurt: PZM) ("Panoro", the "Company") Panoro announced with sadness, that Mr. Jaime Quijandría Salmón, a non-executive director of the Company, passed away suddenly on December 30, 2013. Mr. Quijandria has served as a director of the Company since August 30, 2011.

Mr. Quijandría was the former minister of Energy and Mines in Peru as he was appointed by President Alejandro Toledo in July 2001. He served in the position for two years before being appointed Minister of Finance in July 2003. He resigned in October 2004 to assume the office of Executive Management of the World Bank, representing Perú, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Mr. William J. Boden, chairman of Panoro states "Mr. Quijandría has been a valuable member of our board and his presence will be missed. He has been a leading figure in the evolution of Peru's modern economy. On behalf of the rest of Panoro's board of directors, management and all of our employees, we would like to express our most sincere condolences to the Quijandría family at this time and to join the many tributes in mourning his passing."
